Business Administration is a social science and management discipline that examines how organizations create value through strategic planning, resource allocation, operations, finance, marketing, human capital management, and organizational leadership. The field analyzes how firms interact with markets, institutions, technology, and competitive environments, and how managerial decisions shape performance, innovation, and long-term sustainability.

The discipline trains students to identify and formulate managerial problems, develop data-driven solutions, and evaluate strategic choices. Coursework integrates micro- and macro-level business theories, teaching students to use analytical, quantitative, and behavioral tools to examine costs, productivity, consumer behavior, organizational culture, investment decisions, and market dynamics. Students learn to interpret financial statements, design marketing strategies, assess competitive advantage, manage projects, and evaluate risk.

A distinctive emphasis is placed on strategic management, organizational behavior, corporate governance, innovation and entrepreneurship, and responsible business practices. Training includes negotiation, leadership development, decision analysis, sustainability strategies, digital transformation, and change management.

The curriculum is complemented by case studies, simulations, consulting projects, and internships that build critical thinking, communication, analytical reasoning, and managerial competence. Graduates are prepared for careers in corporations, public agencies, financial institutions, consulting firms, start-ups, and NGOs, as well as for advanced studies in management, economics, public policy, or business law.

Logistics is a specialized field that studies the planning, coordination, and optimization of the movement, storage, and distribution of goods, services, and information across supply chains. It examines how firms design and manage transportation networks, inventory systems, procurement processes, warehousing operations, and last-mile delivery under conditions shaped by technology, market demand, cost structures, regulation, and global integration.

The discipline focuses on developing the ability to analyze and improve supply chain performance through data, models, and operational methods. Students learn to apply quantitative tools, operations research, and systems thinking to forecast demand, optimize inventories, design efficient routing and scheduling, evaluate warehouse layouts, and reduce logistics costs. They also examine how digital technologies—such as IoT, automation, blockchain, and AI—transform logistics processes and enable smarter, more resilient supply chains.

A strong emphasis is placed on transportation management, procurement and sourcing, supply chain strategy, freight forwarding, customs procedures, distribution planning, logistics risk management, and sustainable logistics. Students are also introduced to contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and global value chain coordination.

Learning is reinforced through simulations, case studies, industry software, empirical projects, and internships that develop analytical reasoning, problem-solving skills, operational discipline, and professional communication. Graduates are prepared for positions in manufacturing, transport and logistics companies, retail chains, international trade firms, 3PL/4PL providers, government agencies, and consulting firms, as well as advanced studies in supply chain management, operations research, or business administration.
